Teeth Whitening Options: Take Home vs. In-Office Whitening

Over time, the teeth often get discolored due to different substances or even bacteria. There exist many affordable over the counter that can provide some instant results but having your whitening procedure in our office under the supervision of a dentist is recommended to produce the best aesthetic transformation of your teeth.

During our in-office whitening procedure, we use concentrated Hydrogen Peroxide solution to clean the teeth. This is done by placing a protective barrier over your gums followed by a thorough cleaning to remove tartar, bacteria, and food particles.

Take Home Whitening Trays

This service is usually provided for people who want to maintain the whiteness of their teeth for a more extended period after the office whitening.  Our dentists will train you on how to do this on your own.

Other Options

Teeth whitening works effectively for external dental discolorations; it cannot remove stains in the inner layers of the teeth. Veneers are ceramic/porcelain and become a viable option to cover deep dental blemishes. Also, using a veneer after initial whitening can produce better enhancement.

Clear invisible aligners, also known as Invisalign are orthodontic devices that are a transparent, plastic form of dental braces used to adjust teeth.
